JAX@IND: Up, maybe over, but not in
How’s this for a thrilling, breathtaking conclusion to a drive: a running back, Jacksonville’s James Robinson follows the path established by his designated battering ram, defensive tackle Malcom Brown, plows into the line, gains a little loft and . . . never breaks through.
But fear not! Officials ruled that Robinson crept forward just far enough to let the ball momentarily hover over the goal line and, due to break-the-plane rationale, earn six points. For this we spend hundreds of dollars on tickets or spend hours in front of a TV screen? To see a runner get stood up at the goal line and still be awarded a touchdown? Wow. We would hope for something better. Hocus Bogus rating: 5

JAX@IND: Punter to the rescue
Whaddaya do when your punt gets blocked? If you’re the Jaguars’ Logan Cooke, you transform into a fearsome tackler and prevent the player returning the block from reaching the end zone.
Cooke accomplished that with a he-man, bear-wrasslin’ kind of tackle on the Colts’ E.J. Speed, who had scooped up the loose ball after the block by Zaire Franklin—the first block Cooke had experienced in 251 punts.
Apparently greatly displeased, Cooke decleated Speed and flung him far out of bounds. Great play, until officials decided Speed somehow waved the ball over the pylon as he was getting hurled OOB. Seems generous to us. Rating: 4.5
